The aims of the Association are:
a. Promote the dissemination of methodologies of Decision Making around the world, to share experience and knowledge among the members.
b. Facilitate the exchange of experience and responsibilities among the parties concerned with issues of Decision Making, including the identification of areas of interest and the prevailing development of partnerships.
c. Promote a more effective dialogue between research institutes and the business community on issues of Decision Making, by encouraging and promoting joint initiatives, support the university in identifying training needs and research priorities for the sector.
d. Become a center of expertise and collaborate with national and international procurement standardization and certification of methods, criteria and tools for decision making, taking into account the quality system.
The association, in particular, may also engage in activities such as:
a. Promote all kinds of events such as conferences, meetings, seminars, conventions, conferences and workshops;
b. Organize the publication of magazines, books, brochures and catalogues;
c. Promote research and organize the publication of the results of them;
d. Pursue relations, cultural exchanges and make agreements with universities, associations and foundations, Italian and foreign, pursuing similar purposes;
e. Found scholarships;
f. Perform any other activity directly linked to the achievement of the objective.
The Association may also undertake, any activity connected with, moveable and immoveable, trade finance useful to the administration of the association.
The Association may also use experts, professionals and researchers outside the association itself to carry out its objectives.

The Association will last until 31 December 2050.

The fiscal year lasts from 1 January to 31 December.
